§ 93. Sale and proceeds. Within ten days after the receipt of the\norder of sale, the sheriff, unless the order be sooner vacated or the\nlien discharged, shall sell the vessel seized, her tackle, apparel and\nfurniture, upon notice, and in the manner prescribed by law for the sale\nof personal property upon execution issued out of a court of record. He\nshall make a return to the justice granting the order, of his\nproceedings thereunder, and shall, after deducting his fees and expenses\nin seizing, preserving, watching and selling the vessel, pay into court\nthe remaining proceeds of the sale.\n
