  § 173.00 Pending actions, suits and proceedings not affected.  No\naction, suit or proceeding, pending at the time when this chapter shall\ntake effect, brought by or against a municipality, school district or\ndistrict corporation or any agency, board, commission or official\nthereof, shall be affected or abated by the adoption of this chapter or\nby anything therein contained, and such action, suit or proceeding shall\nbe continued as if this chapter shall not have taken effect.\n
