§ 48. Publication of concurrent resolutions. The secretary of state\nshall send to each newspaper designated pursuant to law, in the order in\nwhich they are passed, and as soon as the slips are printed, copies of\nsuch concurrent resolutions as are required to be published. Concurrent\nresolutions proposing amendments to the constitution shall be published\nin such newspapers, at the times prescribed by the election law, under\nthe direction of the secretary of state, at the expense of the state, in\nsuch manner, by the use of italics or bold face and brackets, as to\nindicate the new matter added and the old matter eliminated.\n
