§ 97. Appointment of consultation clerks in third and fourth\ndepartments. The presiding justice of the appellate division of the\nsupreme court in each of the third and fourth departments, with the\napproval of the other justices of said department, shall have power to\nappoint and remove a consultation clerk, who shall be an expert\nstenographer.\n
