§ 72. Revocation of designation of justice of appellate division.\nUpon the written request of a justice designated for the appellate\ndivision, the governor may revoke his designation by an order to be\nfiled in the office of court administration. Where such designation is\nrevoked, the governor may prescribe the duties to be performed by such\njustice in holding court in any part of the state, from the time of such\nrevocation until the taking effect of the next appointment of terms, as\nprescribed in this chapter, for the judicial department in which such\njustice resides.\n
