§ 7422. Appointment of deputies; employment of assistants.

(a)For the\npurposes of this article the superintendent shall have power to appoint\nspecial deputy, and assistant special deputy, superintendents as his\nagents, and to employ such counsel, clerks and assistants as may by him\nbe deemed necessary and to give them such powers to assist him as he\nconsiders wise.\n (b) The compensation of such special and assistant special deputy\nsuperintendents, counsel, clerks and assistants, and all expenses of\nconducting any proceeding under this article shall be fixed by the\nsuperintendent, subject to the approval of the court, and shall be paid\nout of the funds or assets of such insurer.\n
