§ 4524. Exemption from taxation. Every society organized or licensed\nunder this article is hereby declared to be a charitable and benevolent\ninstitution, and all of its funds shall be exempt from all and every\nstate, county, district, municipal and school tax, other than taxes on\nreal estate and office equipment.\n
