§ 85 — General authorization; good faith of state pledged
§ 85. General authorization; good faith of state pledged. The\ncommissioner of transportation is hereby authorized, empowered and\ndirected to perform and do such other and further acts not hereby\nspecifically provided as may be necessary to perform the work authorized\nby this article and to comply with federal aid highway and\ntransportation acts hereinbefore referred to and rules and regulations\npromulgated thereunder. The provisions of such acts are hereby assented\nto, the good faith of the state of New York being hereby pledged to make\nsuch provision from time to time as may be necessary to provide its\nshare of the cost of such work.\n
