§ 18-403. Severability. If any provision of this article or\napplication thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the\ninvalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this\narticle that can be given effect without the invalid provision or\napplication, and to this end the provisions of this article shall be\nseverable.\n
