§ 585-a. Incorporated village of Hempstead community development\nagency.

1.A community development agency to be known as the\nincorporated village of Hempstead community development agency, is\nhereby established for the accomplishment of any or all of the purposes\nspecified in articles fifteen and fifteen-A of this chapter and in\naccordance with article eighteen of the constitution of the state of New\nYork. It shall constitute a body corporate and politic, be perpetual in\nduration and consist of not less than three and not more than five\nmembers including the mayor. The additional members shall be appointed\nby the mayor with the concurring approval of the village board. It shall\nhave the powers and duties now or hereafter conferred by article\nfifteen-A of this chapter upon mun
