§ 209-y. Establishment of hazardous materials emergency response\nteams.
1.By resolution, the governing body of each county is authorized\nto establish a hazardous materials emergency response team. Such teams\nshall be coordinated in accordance with a plan developed pursuant to\nsection two hundred four-f of this chapter.\n 2. The governing bodies of two or more counties may by mutual\nagreement form one or more regional hazardous materials emergency\nresponse teams. Such regional teams shall be coordinated in accordance\nwith a plan developed pursuant to section two hundred four-f of this\nchapter.\n 3. Counties are authorized to appropriate and expend such sums as are\ndeemed necessary to establish or maintain hazardous materials emergency\nresponse teams pursuant to this section.\
