§ 123. Erection and operation of life-saving apparatus. Any municipal\ncorporation may furnish, erect and locate such life-saving apparatus,\nappliances and paraphernalia, and do all things necessary for the\npractical operating of the same as they may deem advisable, along the\nshores or banks of any streams, rivers or waters within their respective\nboundaries. Any municipal corporation may appropriate of its funds for\nthe purpose of furnishing, erecting, locating and operating such\nlife-saving apparatus.\n
