* § 899-lll. Reporting.
1.Each consumer litigation funding company\nthat engages in business in the state shall submit a report to the\ndepartment of state no later than the thirty-first of January of each\nyear specifying:\n (a) number of consumer litigation fundings by the company;\n (b) summation of funded amounts in dollar figure; and\n (c) annual percentage charged to each consumer where repayment was\nmade.\n 2. The department of state shall make such information available to\nthe public, in a manner which maintains the confidentiality of the name\nof each company and consumer, no later than ninety days after the\nreports are submitted.\n * NB Effective June 17, 2026\n
