* § 399-w. Notice requirements for renters of personal property. 1.\nFor the purposes of this section, the following terms shall have the\nfollowing meanings:\n (a) "Owner" shall include any person, partnership, firm, association,\nor corporation engaged in the business of renting personal property for\nprofit.\n (b) "Personal property" shall include but not be limited to tangible\nchattels used for personal, household, or business purposes but shall\nnot include motor vehicles.\n (c) "Rental agreement" shall mean the total legal obligation that\nresults from a written rental contract between a person and the owner\nfor the rental of personal property.\n 2.
