§ 581-406. Parentage under compliant surrogacy agreement. Upon the\nbirth of a child conceived by assisted reproduction under a surrogacy\nagreement that complies with this part, each intended parent is, by\noperation of law, a parent of the child and neither the person acting as\nsurrogate nor the person's spouse, if applicable, is a parent of the\nchild.\n
