§ 581-401. Surrogacy agreement authorized.
(a)If eligible under this\narticle to enter into a surrogacy agreement, a person acting as\nsurrogate, the spouse of the person acting as surrogate, if applicable,\nand the intended parent or parents may enter into a surrogacy agreement\nwhich will be enforceable provided the surrogacy agreement meets the\nrequirements of this article.\n (b) A surrogacy agreement shall not apply to the birth of a child\nconceived by means of sexual intercourse, or where the person acting as\nsurrogate contributed the egg used in conception.\n (c) A surrogacy agreement may provide for payment of compensation\nunder part five of this article.\n
