§ 580-603 — Effect of registration for enforcement

§ 580-603. Effect of registration for enforcement.

(a)A support order\nor income withholding order issued in another state or a foreign support\norder is registered when the order is filed in the registering tribunal\nof this state.\n (b) A registered support order issued in another state or a foreign\ncountry is enforceable in the same manner and is subject to the same\nprocedures as an order issued by a tribunal of this state.\n (c) Except as otherwise provided in this article, a tribunal of this\nstate shall recognize and enforce, but may not modify, a registered\nsupport order if the issuing tribunal had jurisdiction.\n
