§ 580-314. Limited immunity of petitioner.
(a)Participation by a\npetitioner in a proceeding under this article before a responding\ntribunal, whether in person, by private attorney or through services\nprovided by the support enforcement agency, does not confer personal\njurisdiction over the petitioner in another proceeding.\n (b) A petitioner is not amenable to service of civil process while\nphysically present in this state to participate in a proceeding under\nthis article.\n (c) The immunity granted by this section does not extend to civil\nlitigation based on acts unrelated to a proceeding under this article\ncommitted by a party while physically present in this state to\nparticipate in the proceeding.\n
