§ 580-304 — Duties of initiating tribunal

§ 580-304. Duties of initiating tribunal.

(a)Upon the filing of a\npetition authorized by this article, an initiating tribunal of this\nstate shall forward the petition and its accompanying documents:\n (1) to the responding tribunal or appropriate support enforcement\nagency in the responding state; or\n (2) if the identity of the responding tribunal is unknown, to the\nstate information agency of the responding state with a request that\nthey be forwarded to the appropriate tribunal and that receipt be\nacknowledged.\n (b) If requested by the responding tribunal, a tribunal of this state\nshall issue a certificate or other document and make findings required\nby the law of the responding state.
