§ 1086. Purpose. The purpose of this article is to establish uniform\nprocedures for permanency hearings for all children who are placed in\nfoster care pursuant to section three hundred fifty-eight-a, three\nhundred eighty-four or three hundred eighty-four-a of the social\nservices law or pursuant to section one thousand twenty-two, one\nthousand twenty-seven, one thousand fifty-two, one thousand eighty-nine,\none thousand ninety-one, one thousand ninety-four or one thousand\nninety-five of this act; children who are directly placed with a\nrelative pursuant to section one thousand seventeen or one thousand\nfifty-five of this act; and children who are freed for adoption.
