§ 67. Additional counsel. The governor or attorney-general may\ndesignate and employ such additional attorneys or counsel as may be\nnecessary to assist in the transaction of any of the legal business\nmentioned in section sixty-three of this chapter and such attorneys or\ncounsel shall be paid a reasonable fee upon the certificate of the\ngovernor and attorney-general, the amount thereof to be audited and\nallowed by them or to be paid by the attorney-general out of costs,\npenalties and judgments collected by him, prior to the payment thereof\ninto the state treasury as required by section one hundred twenty-one of\nthe state finance law.\n
