§ 15-2717. Cooperation with the federal government.\n Nothing in this title shall preclude a section of the state wild,\nscenic and recreational rivers system from becoming a part of the\nnational wild and scenic rivers system. The commissioner and the agency\nare directed to encourage and assist any federal studies for inclusion\nof New York State rivers in the national wild and scenic rivers system.\n
