§ 15-1507. Municipal water supply reservoirs on forest preserve lands.\n Any public corporation, now or hereafter empowered by law to construct\nand operate a publicly owned system for the supply of water for\ndrinking, domestic and public purposes to the inhabitants of any\nmunicipality, may make application for the construction and maintenance\nby the state of a water supply reservoir on lands owned by the state and\nconstituting a part of the forest preserve thereof in the manner\nhereinafter set forth.\n
