§ 17-222. Severability. If any provision of this title or its\napplication to any person, political subdivision, or circumstance is\nheld invalid, the invalidity shall not affect other provisions or\napplications of this title which can be given effect without the invalid\nprovision or application, and to this end the provisions of this title\nare severable.\n
