§ 15-130. Election of trustees by wards. The board of trustees of any\nvillage may, by resolution, and subject to a mandatory referendum,\nprovide for the election of trustees by wards, alter existing ward\nboundaries or abolish wards and the election of trustees by wards. If a\nvillage elects trustees by wards separate ballot boxes or voting\nmachines shall be provided for each ward.\n
