§ 6741. Exemption.
a.This article shall not be construed to affect or\nprevent a physical therapist assistant student from engaging in clinical\nassisting under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as part\nof a program conducted in an approved program for physical therapist\nassistants or in a clinical facility or health care agency affiliated\nwith the program for physical therapist assistants.\n b. Supervision of a physical therapist assistant student by a licensed\nphysical therapist shall be on-site supervision and not necessarily\ndirect personal supervision.\n c. Nothing in this article is intended to affect the overall medical\ndirection by a licensed physician of a physical therapist assistant.\n
