§ 6736. Exempt persons.

a.This article shall not be construed to\naffect or prevent the administration of physical therapy or the use of\nmodalities by a person employed by a licensed physician or physical\ntherapist in his office, or in the civil service of the state or any\npolitical subdivision thereof, or in a hospital or clinic, or in an\ninfirmary maintained by a person, firm or corporation employing one or\nmore full-time licensed physicians or physical therapists, provided that\nsuch person was so employed for a period of at least two years prior to\nApril tenth, nineteen hundred fifty, and has been issued a written\nauthorization by the department.\n b.
