§ 6223. Deferred education payments. The board of trustees, by\nregulation, shall provide that upon request by a student attending any\ncollege of the city university who is an eligible veteran, the payment\nof tuition and other fees and charges, less the amounts payable for such\npurposes from scholarships or other financial assistance awarded said\nveteran pursuant to article thirteen of this chapter, article one\nhundred thirty of this chapter or any other college, state or federal\naid program, shall be deferred in such amounts and until such times as\nthe several payments of veterans' benefits under the Veterans'\nReadjustment Benefit Act of 1966, as amended, are received by the\nveteran, provided that the veteran has filed a claim for such benefits\nand presents to the city univer
