§ 4119. School district may contract to educate Indian children.\nNotwithstanding any other provision of law, the trustee, trustees or\nboard of education of any school district shall have power to contract\nwith the commissioner of education for the instruction of Indian\nchildren for a period of ten years. Notwithstanding any other provision\nof law, the trustee, trustees or board of education of any school\ndistrict shall have authority to lease a site or school building owned\nby the state of New York whether located on or off an Indian reservation\nand such trustee, trustees or board of education shall have authority to\nmaintain school in such building notwithstanding the fact that such\nbuilding may not be located within the district boundary lines of such\nschool district.\n
