§ 96. Definitions; interpretation of article.

1.When used in this\narticle, the following terms shall mean and include the following:\n (a) "Organization"--any insurer, rating organization, service or\nadvisory organization, joint underwriting association, welfare or\npension fund, which is subject, in whole or in part, to the insurance\nlaw of this state.\n (b) "Domestic organization"--any "organization" which is domiciled in\nthis state, including, insofar as the provisions of this article may\nappropriately apply thereto, any welfare or pension fund or United\nStates branch of an alien insurer.\n (c) "Charter"--the certificate of organization or incorporation or\nspecial law incorporating a corporation together with its by-laws, or\nthe agreement establishing a fund or association
