§ 88 — Segregation of prisoners

* § 88. Segregation of prisoners. In every building used by the court\nor any part thereof for the detention of prisoners, adequate provision\nshall be made for the separation of female from male prisoners and of\nyouthful offenders from older offenders of the same sex. Every cell or\nroom used for such purposes, or as a waiting place for witnesses, shall\nbe kept in a clean and sanitary condition and shall contain all\nnecessary toilet facilities.\n * NB Effective until September 1, 2027\n * § 88.
