§ 42. Use of electronic filing authorized.

(1)Notwithstanding any\nother provision of law, the chief administrator of the courts may\nauthorize a program in the use of electronic means in cases in the\ncriminal court of the city of New York as provided in section 10.40 of\nthe criminal procedure law.\n (2) For purposes of this section, "electronic means" shall have the\nsame meaning as defined by subdivision (f) of rule twenty-one hundred\nthree of the civil practice law and rules.\n
