§ 37 — Effective date of article

§ 37. This article shall become a part of the constitution on the\nfirst day of January next after the approval and ratification of this\namendment by the people but its provisions shall not become operative\nuntil the first day of September next thereafter which date shall be\ndeemed the effective date of this article.\n
