§ 20.45. Separability. If any provision of any section of this article\nand each special law enacted pursuant to this article or the application\nthereof to any person or circumstance shall be judged invalid by a court\nof competent jurisdiction, such order or judgment shall be confined in\nits operation to the controversy in which it was rendered, and shall not\naffect or invalidate the remainder of any provision of any section of\nthis article and each such special law or the application thereof to any\nother person or circumstances, and to this end each provision of this\narticle and each such special law is hereby declared to be severable.\n
