§ 95. Drug store permit. The liquor authority may issue a drug store\npermit to sell liquor and/or wine for off-premises consumption pursuant\nto this section.\n 1. Application must be made upon a form to be provided by the liquor\nauthority and shall be filed with the appropriate board. Section\nfifty-four shall control so far as applicable the procedure in\nconnection with such application.\n 2. Such permit shall authorize the permittee to sell liquor or wine in\nthe original sealed package only upon a written prescription of a\nregularly licensed physician in a quantity not exceeding one pint of\nliquor and one quart of wine; such prescription shall state the date\nthereof; the name of the person for whom prescribed and shall be\npreserved by the vendor and pasted in a book kept for

No such permittee shall have, keep or offer for sale, or sell in\nthe premises designated in the permit any liquor which is not of the\nstrength, quality and purity prescribed in the latest United States\nPharmacopoeia.\n 4. Such permit shall be issued for a calendar year and the fee\ntherefor shall be at the rate of fifty-one dollars per year for each\nplace where such traffic is carried on except that where application\nshall be filed after July first in any year the fee to be paid shall be\nthe sum of twenty-six dollars for the balance of such year.\n
