  § 42. Act of officer or agent deemed act of principal.  In construing\nand enforcing the provisions of this chapter relating to penalties, the\nact of a director, officer, agent or other person acting for or employed\nby a person, association or corporation subject to the provisions of\nthis chapter and acting within the scope of his employment, shall be\ndeemed the act of such person, association or corporation.\n
