§ 182. Notification and use of weighing and measuring devices. No\nperson shall use, for the purpose of determining the weight, quantity or\nprice of any commodity sold, or offered or exposed for sale, any new,\nused or repaired weighing or measuring device or system, or accessory\nrelated thereto, unless he or she has first notified the appropriate\nmunicipal director of weights and measures in writing, or by such other\nmeans as the director may deem acceptable, of such intended use or\nunless such device, system or accessory has been inspected, tested and\nsealed. Each installation or repair shall be made in conformance with\nspecifications, tolerances and variations allowable as established by\nthe commissioner.\n
