§ 81.935 — Procedure for expulsion, termination or suspension of member

1. An expulsion, termination or suspension of a member which deviates from the procedural requirements of this section is void and without effect. 2. An expulsion, termination or suspension of a member must be performed in good faith and in a fair and reasonable manner. 3. A procedure for the expulsion, termination or suspension of a member is fair and reasonable if such a procedure is set forth in the articles of incorporation or bylaws of a worker cooperative and the procedure:
(a)Provides 15 days’ notice of the expulsion, termination or suspension and such notice includes, without limitation, a reason for the expulsion, termination or suspension; and
(b)Gives the member an opportunity to be heard, orally or in writing, before a person or body authorized to make such a decision regardi
