§ 80.007 — Correction of inaccurate or defective record filed with Secretary of State; cancellation of filings
1. A foreign corporation may correct a record filed in the Office of the Secretary of State if the record contains an incorrect statement or was defectively signed, attested, sealed, verified or acknowledged, including, without limitation, if the record was filed erroneously. 2. To correct a record, the corporation must:
(a)Prepare a certificate of correction which:
(1)States the name of the corporation;
(2)Describes the record, including, without limitation, its filing date;
(3)Specifies the inaccuracy or defect in the record, including, without limitation, if and to the extent applicable, the error in the filing of the record;
(4)Sets forth such information as is necessary so as to clarify or otherwise remedy the inaccuracy or defect; and
