Text

1. If the holder of a certificate wants to add one or more new service areas to the certificate, the holder must:

(a)File with the Secretary of State an application for an amendment to the certificate to add the new service areas; and
(b)Pay any fee required by NRS 711.420 . 2. The application for an amendment to the certificate must contain a description of each new service area designated by the holder and a map of each new service area that shows the territorial boundaries of each local government located, in whole or in part, within the new service area. 3. The application for an amendment to the certificate is subject to the same procedures, requirements and time periods as an application for the issuance of a certificate pursuant to NRS 711.500 and 711.510 .
