Text

When: 1. A complaint has been filed with the Authority alleging that any vehicle is being operated without a certificate of public convenience and necessity or contract carrier’s permit as required by NRS 706.011 to 706.791 , inclusive; or 2. The Authority has reason to believe that any:

(a)Person is advertising to provide:
(1)The services of a fully regulated carrier in intrastate commerce; or
(2)Towing services, Ê without including the number of the person’s certificate of public convenience and necessity or permit in each advertisement; or
(b)Provision of NRS 706.011 to 706.791 , inclusive, is being violated, Ê the Authority shall investigate the operations or advertising and may, after a hearing, order the owner or operator of the vehicle or the person advertising to cease and desi
