Text
Any individual, company or corporation operating any railroad in this state, and every agent of such company or corporation who violates or attempts to violate, or suffers or permits to be done any act, matter or thing in violation of any of the provisions of any statute of this state, which prescribes or regulates the charges which may be made and collected by any individual, company or corporation operating any railroad in this state, for the transportation of either persons or property, and for which no other penalty is provided, shall upon conviction thereof be punished by a fine of $2,000.
