Text
The Director may adopt such regulations as are necessary to carry out the provisions of NRS 701.700 to 701.780, inclusive. In designing such regulations, the Director shall attempt to minimize the overall cost to consumers for regulated appliances and appliances for which the Director has adopted a minimum standard of energy efficiency pursuant to NRS 701.770, considering the needs of consumers related to appliances, technological feasibility and anticipated product availability and performance.
