Text

A society that issues a benefit contract shall not discriminate against any person with respect to participation or coverage under the contract on the basis of actual or perceived gender identity or expression. Prohibited discrimination includes, without limitation:

1.Denying, cancelling, limiting or refusing to issue or renew a benefit contract on the basis of the actual or perceived gender identity or expression of a person or a family member of the person;
2.Imposing a payment or premium that is based on the actual or perceived gender identity or expression of an insured or a family member of the insured;
3.Designating the actual or perceived gender identity or expression of a person or a family member of the person as grounds to deny, cancel or limit participation or coverage; and 4
