Except for a notice of cancellation for the failure to pay a premium when due, no notice required pursuant to NRS 687B.310 to 687B.420, inclusive, is effective unless it contains adequate instructions enabling the policyholder to apply for insurance through any voluntary or mandatory risk-sharing plan established pursuant to NRS 686B.180 and 686B.200 existing at the time of the notice, for which the policyholder may be eligible.
