Text
1. Any person, governmental entity, insurer or authorized representative of an insurer shall report any information concerning insurance fraud to the Commissioner and Attorney General on a form prescribed by the Commissioner and Attorney General. 2. The Commissioner and Attorney General shall each independently:
(a)Review each report of insurance fraud; and
(b)Determine whether an investigation should be made of the facts in the report.
3. During their respective investigations, the Commissioner and Attorney General shall independently determine whether there is probable cause to believe that insurance fraud has occurred.
