Text

1. An employee of the State Department of Agriculture who, in the course of his or her duties:

(a)Possesses, delivers or produces cannabis;
(b)Aids and abets another in the possession, delivery or production of cannabis;
(c)Performs any combination of the acts described in paragraphs (a) and (b); or
(d)Performs any other criminal offense in which the possession, delivery or production of cannabis is an element, Ê is exempt from state prosecution for the offense. The persons described in this subsection must ensure that the cannabis described in this subsection is safeguarded in an enclosed, secure location. 2.
