1. An employee of the State Department of Agriculture who, in the course of his or her duties:

(a)Possesses, delivers or produces cannabis;

(b)Aids and abets another in the possession, delivery or production of cannabis;

(c)Performs any combination of the acts described in paragraphs (a) and (b); or

(d)Performs any other criminal offense in which the possession, delivery or production of cannabis is an element, Ê is exempt from state prosecution for the offense. The persons described in this subsection must ensure that the cannabis described in this subsection is safeguarded in an enclosed, secure location. 2. 3. As used in this section, “cannabis” includes, without limitation, cannabis products.
