Text

1. The Commissioner shall approve an application for a license and keep on file his or her findings of fact pertaining thereto if the Commissioner finds that the applicant has met all the other requirements of this chapter pertaining to the applicant’s qualifications and application. 2. Upon the approval of the application, the payment of any required fees and the submission of any required information, the Commissioner shall:

(a)Notify the applicant of the approval and issue a unique license number to the applicant; and
(b)Update any applicable public record maintained by the Commissioner to show that the person holds an active license that authorizes the person to conduct collection activities in this State.
