1. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 645B.960 , a person, or any general partner, director, officer, agent or employee of a person, who violates any provision of this chapter, a regulation adopted pursuant to this chapter or an order of the Commissioner is guilty of a misdemeanor. 2. In addition to any other penalty, if a person is convicted of or enters a plea of nolo contendere to a violation described in subsection 1, the court shall order the person to pay:

(a)Court costs; and
(b)Reasonable costs of the investigation and prosecution of the violation.
