Notwithstanding the provisions of chapter 622A of NRS, if the Board issues an order suspending the license of a behavior analyst or assistant behavior analyst or registration of a registered behavior technician pending proceedings for disciplinary action and requires the behavior analyst, assistant behavior analyst or registered behavior technician to submit to an examination of his or her competency to practice applied behavior analysis, the examination must be conducted and the results obtained within 60 days after the Board issues the order.
